About the Speaker
Ruben Gonzalez is a Retirement Director for Janus Henderson Defined Contribution and Wealth Advisor Services Team. In this role, he provides thoughtful advice and consultation to his Janus peers and financial advisors surrounding some of today’s most complex retirement issues. Ruben draws upon his extensive knowledge of qualified plans and the retirement industry to assist advisors and plan sponsors with their retirement plan objectives and concerns. Ruben has over 17 years of experience in the retirement industry helping financial advisors, plan sponsors and plan participants with their retirement needs. Ruben has held national and regional (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic) sales positions at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DWS). Prior to joining Janus Henderson in 2015, Ruben was a VP and Corporate Retirement Plan Specialist at DWS and held a financial consultant and sales position at The New England Insurance and Investment Company in New York City. Ruben holds the Series 7, 6 and 63 FINRA licenses and is continuing education (CE) certified. He earned a B.S. in Business Marketing from Manhattan College in New York.
